Between 1978 and 1992, when the last contract was handed over to the Ministry of electricity & Water, ONEC successfully completed billing contracts in the regions of Batinah, Sharqia, Dakhlia, Dhahira, Musandam & Masirah.

In 1997, ONEIC re-entered the field by winning the Dhofar Electricity contract through an open tender.
