ONEC is fully capable of undertaking
operation and maintenance of gas turbine power
stations of any size on its own since 1st of April
2001. We Single-handedly operated and maintained
on our own, the biggest power station in Oman
at Rusayl. (Total Capacity 720MW comprising
eight gas turbines of 90MW each) till December
2006
Gas Turbine Power
Stations
From 1st July, 1997 till 31st March, 2001
we have operated and maintained the Rusayl Power Station
in collaboration with M/s Electricity Supply Board
of Ireland: the national electricity utility of
the Republic of Ireland, boasting over 50 years;
experience in the design, management and generation
of hydro, oil, coal and natural gas plants.
ONEC can offer a fully comprehensive
operation and maintenance service for gas turbine
power stations of any size
Diesel
Power Stations
Backed by a professional technical
team, ONEC has operated and maintained Diesel
Power Stations in the interior of Oman for more
than twenty years. These stations, with an installed
capacity exceeding 200MW, provide power to the
Sharqia, Dakhlia, Musandam & Dhofar regions
of Oman and stand testimony to ONEC's comprehensive
commitment and capability to operate and maintain
Diesel Power Stations of any size.
Desalination Plants
ONEC has accumulated over 15 years
experience in the operation and maintenance of
desalination plants of various types including
MSF, Reverse Osmosis and VCD plants.
Presently, ONEC operates and maintains
20 desalination stations servicing the Sharqia,
Dakhlia and Dhofar regions with a total production
capacity of 4.5 million liters per day.
Potable Water Plants
We operate and maintain sharqia
water supply project which provides potable
water to Wilayats of Al Kamil wa Al Wafi, Jalan
Bani Bu Hassan, Jalan Bani Bu Ali as per Omani
Drinking Water Standrd 8.
The system includes water well field comprising
of 30 nos. of Borewells and Multistage
Submersible pumps, Splitcase Horizontal pumps,
Chlorination & Fluoridation system for treatment
of water. Priority of pumps, levels of
reservoir, levels of Elevated tanks are
controlled by a SCADA systems with PCVue32 HMI
interconnected to PLC'S over a Fiber Optic
Network Backbone.
