Established in 1978, Oman National Electric Company (SAOG) started its Operations to serve the  Electricity, Water, and Communications sector. Since inception, the company has registered steady growth backed by committed shareholders, progressive management with dynamism and dedicated professional staff exceeding 3000.

The company repositioned itself in diverse competitive global business scenario, the company rechristened its name to Oman National Engineering and Investment Co. (SAOG).

During last 29 years, the company has made successful forays into power, water and utility sectors in Oman.  The company has integrated the Oman pride while delivering the projects on time and reaching to the individual Omani nationals, through the company’s core activities of power, water and utilities.
